Dan is an investment manager with experience in research, capital markets, corporate governance, energy infrastructure, real estate and digital media. He also has considerable equity research experience, having spent many years as an investment adviser with top securities brokers, and founded the only Romanian credit rating agency Bucharest Equity Research Group. Subsequent to transitioning into mainstream corporate management in the early 2000, Dan held a number executive and non-executive positions on the Boards of 12 publicly listed companies on Romanian Securities Exchanges.

I'm a software developer for GATCOIN, entrepreneur, meditator, and skater. Born in Bucharest Romania, I moved to Australia in 2013 to study at the ANU, where I also worked as a university tutor.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in IT from the Australian National University and my experience includes Java, C#, Js, the Unity environment, Python and I'm currently building mobile and web apps using React. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, swimming & envisioning a better future. I'm also working on a location-based game (similar to Pokemon Go) which aims to enable people to interact with their surroundings in more interesting ways (for universities, smart cities, tourism etc).

I wanted to work in film throughout high school however, after I completed my Bachelor of Arts I realised that I wanted to contribute to society through technology. I decided that I had not yet reached my full potential and would accomplish my goals by undertaking further studies. Engineering at ANU has been an exciting and interesting time for me that I am sure will open many doors in the future and well equip me to capture my ambitions.
